About the Role
QuickBooks Online expert. Real experience, not bootcamp. Right hand of our Office Manager. Daily classification, project-level job costing, A/R follow-up, weekly P&L reporting. First mission on entry: close QBO 2025 books and clean job costing (currently incomplete). You do NOT do fiscal: that stays with the external accountant.
Responsibilities
- Classify QBO transactions from the previous day, detect inconsistencies
- Job costing: register real vs estimated costs per active WLP project
- Coordinate with Office Manager: align Jobber vs QBO, resolve discrepancies
- A/R follow-up: customers with overdue balance, reminders
- Weekly report for CEO: PnL, cash position, margin alerts
- Margin analysis per project: identify losses or low profitability
- Coordination with external accountant (operational, not fiscal)
- First entry deliverable: close QBO 2025 plus clean job costing
Requirements
- QuickBooks Online expert: real experience, not learned here
- Documented rigorous job costing
- Valid US visa for 2 to 3 trips per year to California
- English C1: meetings with leadership in English
- Reconciliation and accounting close at execution level
- Advanced Excel / Sheets
Nice to Have
- Background in construction, services, or project-based businesses
- Familiarity with Looker Studio, Power BI, or Google Sheets dashboards
- Experience with US-based clients
